Online Funding Databases

GRANTnet
This is a free to use, online funding database available using the following link http://west-norfolk.gov.uk/default.aspx?page=24369

GRANTnet enables voluntary and community groups, sports and other clubs, schools, social enterprises and small businesses to search across a huge range of funding sources.

It is presented in the format of an online, step-by-step questionnaire that provides you with:

·       information on over 4,000 grants and other incentives, sourced from EC and Government sources, including Government departments, local authorities, charitable trusts and corporate sponsors;

·       a system which is regularly updated to ensure access to the very latest funding information;

·       an easily navigable database;

·       rapid identification of funding sources specific to your needs.

To assist local organisations in their search for funding, the Borough Council and the West Norfolk Partnership have subscribed to GRANTnet as part of the GRANTfinder service.

Funding Central
NCVO (National Council for Voluntary Organisations) and Office for the Third Sector (Cabinet Office) have worked together to produce this specific data base for the wider third sector, encompassing voluntary and community groups, registered charities, social enterprises and co-operatives. It is also free to use allowing you to search, identify and save grants, contracts and loans relevant to your projects and activities.  Dedicated guidance, tools and language for the voluntary sector make this web based tool very useful and user friendly for those organisations new to funding. At the same time it also offers more experience fundraisers the opportunity to identify the most suitable funding streams for their organisation using a more advanced search criteria.

For further information and advice on these tools or anything relating to funding please contact either Maxine Fiander (Development Manager) or Ian Francis (Development Officer) on 01553 760568. Alternatively email maxine@westnorfolkvca.org or ianf@westnorfolkvca.org
