As members the following will be available to you:-

Voting Rights

Members pack
with a "Who’s Who" of the Voluntary Community Action team; when we are
available; what we offer and information on member organisations.

A free copy of
the Directory of Services which lists services within West Norfolk and
surrounding areas, issued once a year with up-date sheets available
quarterly.

Payroll
service available at less than market costs.

Processing of
Criminal Records Bureau checks. The CRB charges for Standard and Enhanced
checks to which we add a small administrative charge (please note that the
CRB does not charge for checks on volunteers).

A discount of
25-50% on training courses/events/conferences.

The Equipment
Bank available free with booking/signature system.

Facilitators
for conferences/consultations (please ask for further details if required,
as a charge would be made for this service).
In addition you would have access to the following:-

Information and Advice

One to one
advice/support on issues such as funding, constitutions, setting
up/developing organisations, policy/planning, finance, trustee roles/
responsibilities.

Monthly
Mailing: ‘In Touch’ newsletter alternate months with latest on local and
national issues plus any inserts such as training, job opportunities and
flyers. On the other month a small mail out with job opportunities,
training, flyers and any urgent information.

Access to
Resource Library

Representation
at Strategic meetings to represent the views of the West Norfolk Voluntary
and Community sector

Access to the
services of Volunteering West Norfolk which raises the profile of
volunteering and recruits and places volunteers

Representation
of views in the development of the Voluntary Sector Resource Centre
-
Photocopying/Laminating/Binding (please ask for further details if
required as a charge would be made for this service).
Membership Fees:
We felt that the
fairest way to charge for membership would be based on income of an
organisation.
Income of £1,000
or less or individuals up to £15.00
Income of £15,000 or less £21.00
Income of £50,000 or less £31.00
Income of £100,000 or less £42.00
Income of £100,000+ £52.00
Membership runs
from 1st April to 31st March, all organisations with existing contract to
the WNVCA would be required to pay for a full year even if they did not
apply until later in the year. For those organisations which are new to us,
fees would be pro rata depending on the month joined.
