Heather Farley,
Chief Executive.
Heather represents the voice of the West Norfolk sector at a number of
forums locally, across the county and regionally. She is also Vice Chair
of the West Norfolk Partnership Board and is heavily involved in
strategic planning for the area. She directs
WNVCA to best
suit the interests of the voluntary and community sector in West
Norfolk. |

Judith Berry,
Volunteering Assistant /Secretariat
Judith assists Karen Lee with Volunteer Centre administration,
conducts CRB checks and liaisons with organisations and volunteers with
regards to volunteering and organising volunteer events. She also
provides Secretariat support. |

Maxine Fiander, Development
Manager
Maxine works closely with the voluntary and community
sectors to help organisations expand their roles and goals. She helps
them find funders, gives advice on applications, helps with problem
solving, constitutions, putting trustee boards together and becoming
registered charities, thus enabling organisations to reach their full
potential. |

Judith Flack,
Finance Officer
Judith maintains the financial information for VCA & other voluntary &
community organisations and provide other information of a finance
nature as required. |

Ian Francis,
Development Officer
Ian’s role is to provide support
through the Seamless Support Project to existing and potential social
enterprises alongside voluntary and community groups aiding them to
develop and prioritise their ideas and devise realistic action plans. He
works in partnership with other infrastructure organisations to promote
not only best practice but also to focus on delivering quality. He
advises groups on a wide range of issues from adopting a suitable legal
structure, through to writing constitutions the importance of roles and
responsibilities and seeking out appropriate funding streams.

Michelle Johnson,
Finance and Administration Manager
Michelle’s role as Finance Manager includes the upkeep of our own
financial systems, giving help on financial matters and providing
services to the Voluntary and Community Sector. She advises on data
protection, personnel and health and safety. She is also responsible for
the staff files, office administration and equipment.

Jackie Lawrence,
Administrative Assistant
Jackie is often the first voice you’ll hear on the telephone and the
first face you’ll see as you walk through our door. She supports all
members of staff and keeps the data base current. |

Karen Lee,
Volunteering Officer
Karen
offers a brokerage service between volunteers and voluntary and
community organsations. Karen is on hand to offer advice about
recruitment and retention of volunteers. Karen regulary attends
events to promote volunteering and holds a volunteers surgery once a
month at Swaffham Community Centre.

Daisy Line,
Partnership Cohesion Officer
Daisy is funded by West Norfolk Partnership Board to develop the actions
required from the Community Cohesion Strategy and deliver on those
actions. She also provides training on diversity, inclusion and
cohesion for both the voluntary and statutory colleagues. She
leads on the development of the Welcome Pack. |

Valeria Makara,
Multi Lingual Parent Advocacy Officer
Valeria is funded through the Migration Impacts Fund in partnership with
Norfolk Children Services and West Norfolk Voluntary and Community
Action (WNVCA). The purpose of Valeria's post is to improve the
communication between parents of EAL students and schools in West
Norfolk. In the future Valeria will be helping to set up family
ESOL sessions along with drop in clinics at schools across this part of
the county. Valeria can share information about events, support
and networks to encourage parents, children and school staff to get to
know her. |

Peter Morris,
Partnership Delivery Officer
Peter’s principle aim is to promote, enable and support partnership
working between the statutory agencies and the voluntary and community
sector (VCS). Therefore, Peter’s role is to represent the VCS and to
ensure that the VCS plays an integral part of the local decision making
process by influencing the local strategic partnerships (West Norfolk
Partnership) and the local area agreements (Norfolk Ambition).
However, he is also involved through liaison with the local VCS in
gauging the needs and requirements of the sector. |

Kate Oldfield, PA to Chief Executive and
Board Secretary
Kate’s role is to support the Chief Executive in scheduling meetings,
managing diary and managing the day to day running of the office. She
also provides support to the Board in their role providing strategic
direction to the organisation. |

Nikki Sewell, North Lynn Activities
Coordinator
Works on a project to reinvigorate and
reconnect those communities that are feeling the pressure from
recession most acutely. Nikki will be supporting local people
in North Lynn to plan, fund and initiate small projects, reconnect
them with jobs and tackle the real and perceived sense of unfairness
some people are feeling. |
